FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about pricing, timelines and how we work — no sales call required to find out.

How much does a website cost?

It depends on the lane: Wix Studio templates start from $450, custom Next.js/React SPAs from $1,800, e-commerce builds from $2,400, and brand + motion packages from $900. Every quote is fixed-price, agreed before work starts — no hourly surprises.

How long does a project take?

Wix builds typically ship in 1–3 weeks, brand + motion in 2–4 weeks, custom SPAs in 3–6 weeks, and e-commerce builds in 4–8 weeks. We work in weekly demo sprints so you see progress throughout, not just at the end.

Do you work with clients outside Ecuador?

Yes. Vimedev is based in Quito, Ecuador with additional presence in Miami and Buenos Aires, and we work bilingually (English/Spanish) with clients across Ecuador, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Chile and the United States.

Who owns the code and design once the project is finished?

You do. Upon full payment, clients receive ownership of the final delivered work product, excluding third-party libraries and licensed assets, which remain subject to their own licenses.

Do you offer support after launch?

Every engagement includes a post-launch support window (typically 30 days) to handle tweaks and fixes. Ask us about ongoing retainers if you need continued updates or monitoring beyond that.

What technologies do you build with?

Mainly Next.js, React and TypeScript for custom applications; Wix Studio and Velo for template-based sites; Shopify and Medusa for e-commerce; and Web3/blockchain integrations for crypto-facing products.

Do you build mobile apps too, not just websites?

Yes — see our Mobile section for production apps we've built and maintain, including Agachadito, Somos-Fit, Divino Niño Jesús and Cryptic Nomad, live on Google Play.

How do I get started?

Start with a free 30-minute discovery call — we listen, scope the work, and follow up with a fixed-price proposal. We reply to inquiries in under 24 hours, in English or Spanish.
